Sadly, it is older and does not show the "revised" 785 Chipset, only the "original" 780 Chipset. The system is used for **LIGHT** gaming (think chainz- astro pop- mystery mansion- those little match 3 games or search and find), mainly web browsing, some HTPC, and those silly myspace/facebook game IPlayNaked: Thanks for the graph. Last things done were the Mobo/CPU combo last month, then the 4870 this month. I had gotten a new motherboard that supported DDR2 1066 instead of the old PC133. I have been upgrading it since 05 or 06, and finally killed off the P4 altogether which had went up to a 2.2 Ghz at some point.

To make it simple, the PC started it's life as a Socket 478 P4 1.8 Ghz with an ATI 9600 or 9700 (AGP) and a no-name 300 Watt PSU inside one of those generic "gray/tan" cases that was given to me a HARDCORE enthusiast. The hard drive is also older (needs replacing as it fails to boot until you hit the restart button and grinds occasionally). The RAM is what I started with back in 07 with an Athlon X2 5800 and an Asus M2N4 Deluxe or SLI. The CPU and Motherboard were a "combo" for $109 USD. Also, that GFX card in it is actually one of mine, but that system is running the same card (EXCEPT it is the 512Mb version). I already have all of the parts listed, they are from my newegg order history. Anyway, the case has been "modified" to make better use of the front intake.

It left a lot to be wanted in the front cooling along with the sideways mounted HDDs all but blocking the front intake. It had a great design to me at the time with the 4 side fans and all. I bought that case back in Feb or March of 07. IPlayNaked, I agree with you on just about everything mentioned.
